So it’s lunchtime here, and the countdown has ended.  What was it for you ask, well I am happy to be able to tell you.

Once the clocks here hit mid-day and the countdown clock Samsung had got to 00:00:00 the page refreshed as if by magic, and took an age to do so at that.  I’m willing to bet that Samsung thought the URL wouldn’t get out to that many people, and therefore it could handle the traffic thrown at the site, but after nearly 3 hours of trying to gain access to the site, there was still no success.  Samsung effectively had a DoS brought upon the site by the number of people trying to access it at once.  Bad planning there, Samsung!

And at the end of it all, unless Samsung changed their minds, there was only a redirect to their YouTube channel and a video of the Galaxy Note.  All somewhat anti-climatic.
